London-based singer-songwriter Chris Erasmus returns with his latest single, "Shotgun," a powerful Americana-Country track that showcases his refined talent. With a rich global background that spans Zimbabwe, Cape Town, Australia, New York, and London, Chris's music reflects his diverse life experiences, adding layers of depth and relatability.

"Shotgun" is a four-minute reflection on patience and emotional growth, where Chris contemplates a turbulent relationship. His lyrics, “I’m driving alone on this road, but I’m not lonely / Just time as company,” emphasise the empowerment that comes from walking away rather than engaging in conflict.

Explaining the song, Chris says, "It’s about that moment when you're ready to explode, but instead, you just walk away." His deep, commanding vocals bring this moment to life, perfectly supported by smooth guitars and grounding drums.

With a career spanning classical music, musical theatre, and various genres, Chris’s versatility continues to impress. His cover of "Fires" landed on the Billboard Dance Chart in 2019, and "Shotgun" further cements his reputation as a multifaceted artist.
