Rising one to watch Ziyad Al-Samman returns teasing his forthcoming EP Pleasure Complex, with new indie-pop infused anthem "Bang" that gives a taste of what's to come from the new project.
The anointed prince of indie-disco-pop delivers another signature release, weaving eccentric, warped synths among mellow vocals. Dropping along side an equally flamboyant music video that transports listeners back in time with retro 16mm film along with post-punk inspired fits and back drops, "Bang" perfectly depicts the half-Syrian, half-British artist's vision from the music all the way through to the creative direction.

The upcoming five-track EP is sure to showcase Al-Samman's boundless creativity, with more unique visuals and outstanding live performances to come. Speaking on the new single “Bang” he explains: “The song is about being driven by love and madness. The chase and excitement of a new relationship. I remember trying to channel some David Bowie energy when I first wrote this and I love how direct this song is, it carries a great swag and attitude."
A reminder of uncompromising on creativity, "Bang" is the ultimate indie-pop journey nodding to a nostalgic era of early influences like Talking Heads and Depeche Mode whilst packed with fresh flavours that see Al-Samman firmly in his own lane.
