Killeen,Texas-based singer, filmmaker, and wordsmith KIEDA BORDEAUX. has been on a roll, releasing a series of loosies on her YouTube, but her latest entry in the string of Consciousness is set to promote the heart and soul of her upcoming project.
"Vent" is the latest from BORDEAUX. and sees the rapper tuning in her southern roots, incorporating smooth braggadocious bars and an infectious synth-led, grimy beat. "Vent" serves as a writing exercise, making space for BORDEAUX. to flex an imposing flow with a nonchalant, yet staunchly confident presence.
BORDEAUX. carries herself with a sake of purpose but also presents the music in a laid-back fashion that comes off as passionate, yet comfortable. The end result is a head-bobbing earworm in a series of loosies that spark excitement for whatever KIEDA BORDEAUX. has cooking.
The latest Bordeaux Film Club-directed video showcases the rapper in her native area, shining a light in one of the spaces that brings color to the city.
