Splitting her time between both London and Paris, singer/songwriter Muri unveils her iridescent new single, “Rêve-toi.” Roughly translating to mean “dream of who you are,” the enchanting track tells an uplifting, hopeful story, reminding listeners that there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

The songwriter shares, “It’s about learning to be OK being in the in-between. It’s about looking up, discovering hope, and finding you can dream again. I was affected by a lot of change and transitions. Where I faced the reality of letting go of certain things, certain narratives. And only in accepting that, learned that I could rebuild myself. I’ve moved homes and really felt I lost my sense of anchor, sense of purpose, and essence of who I am.”

“Rêve-toi” sparkles with colorful synths, as layered instruments and textures create an all-encompassing feel. Her soft, soulful vocals deliver a powerful message of overcoming illusions and embracing personal growth. In our ever-changing, fast-paced world, it is important to be able to adapt to change and learn to be comfortable with uncertainty, with Muri urging us to look forward, even after life’s toughest hurdles.
