"Goodbye Ah" is a profound reflection on the importance of signs and cherishing the world's natural beauty. Jonsjooel explains that the track is a reflection of his belief in signs, and that if we cherish our sensitivity, we can see so much more. This track serves as a reminder to care for the environment, emphasising our deep connection to nature. “I believe if you are aware of the importance of nature and your connection to it, you start to make constructive decisions in all of your actions. If we human beings want to continue living here, we can’t distance ourselves from nature as we currently tend to do. My music is just one part of my quest for connection to nature”, he adds.
This single follows Jonsjooel's debut solo album, Lullabies for Younger Self, released in October 2023. Inspired by his late grandmother, the album explored themes of self-care, forgiveness, and compassion. Jonsjooel is certainly looking ahead, and forming a deeper relationship with his listeners on the journey towards his Voices Of A First Day EP.
