Brighton-based singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer Tamara Kramar showcases sonic refinement on sophomore EP Make It Poetic, an emotive seven-track collection that sees the young talent hone her sound framed by plenty of self-expression.
Infusing sleek jazz sensibilities with sparking pop touches, Kramar unveils charm at every turn of the project. From the folksy feels of “Irony,” to the Bossa Nova elements of “Sunflower,” the EP is rooted in subtle but impactful songwriting.
With soft sonic simplicity that moves seamlessly into expansive arrangements, the track EP brims with tender romance and tongue-in-cheek observations in equal amounts as Kramar’s warm sincerity shines through on each track.
Speaking of the EP, she says, ”Make It Poetic is my baby that I am incredibly proud of! I made this mini-album with the intention to learn how to produce, find my sound and truly express myself. These seven songs cut deep into who I am as an artist, lyricist, instrumentalist and as a person. We are all just people doing this thing called living so why not make it poetic?”
An emerging talent who emerged this year after a hiatus of over a year, has been steadily revealing alluring glimpses of the project as she establishes herself as one to watch.
