We head to West London with the help of emerging rapper Light who just dropped the visuals for his new single "Ko-Lee Noodles". The track is inspired by the never-ending hunger for success and a homage to one of the UK's top brands of noodles. It finds Light detailing the ups and downs of chasing one's dreams in an unforgiving world.
Light grew up in a musical household with a diverse heritage, being half Welsh/Irish from his mother's side and Grenadian on his father's. His father was in the entertainment industry, working as an event promoter and DJ. Light was introduced to the industry at a young age but didn't start releasing music until his 25th Birthday, and he hasn't looked back since.
"Ko-Lee Noodles" serves as his fifth release of the year and showcases his expressive and commanding flow peppered with insightful bars like "I put my heart in cling distribute to these fiends, Lord forgive my sins I’m trying to win I gotta dodge these Jinns" and a whole lot of graphic imagery of the mean streets. The song also comes with a well-crafted video that uses a plethora of seamless cut scenes and performance shots of Light in his element and his squad.
"Ko-Lee Noodles" is Light’s fifth release so far this year, the artist has released four other singles entitled "Dirty Sprite", "FNO (Failures No Option)", "Fuck Rap" and "Twelve"
