LA-based DJ, producer, singer, and party savant Teilz is known for her genre-bending, dancefloor-filling mixes and has played more than a handful of events across different continents. From throwing exclusive parties branded as Visions with acts like Todd Edwards, Kelly Lee Owens, Joy Anonymous to opening for Frank Ocean, Beach House, Pharrell Williams, she has built her own community in the dance and party scene. Now she is switching gears with her new venture that see her teaming up with producer Nick Sylvester who helps craft her first single "Type of Girl". The retro-modern disco dance tune is Teilz take on the genre with a distinct nostalgic approach and her characteristic unassuming style that is anchored on laidback melodies, playful quips and engaging refrains that aims to melt our worries away. Over the pulsating funky guitar backdrop, she sings "I could be/Your rescue party/Lift you up from darkness you bring on yourself" before explaining the type of girl she's not.
