Clarence James is a Texas born and bred artist and visionary who creates important and transformative musical releases. Known for his blend of genres including Jazz, indie rock, bedroom pop, and hip hop, the prolific artist has just shared his latest gem "FLAKE". The song is off of his upcoming album “WHY WOULD I MAKE PEACE WITH THIS DEMON?”, which aims to convey unity and a sense of one-ness in an insane and crazy world.

With "FLAKE", Clarence James pens a song all about his own struggle with self distraction and the perils of too much introversion. Lyrics including, "Nothing feels the same no more / I can't ignore the pain no more / Sorry for not hitting you back / I've been so anxious lately / I've been really stressing lately," show Clarence's tendency to hide and retreat from the world when he is going through it. He understands though that this habit isn't healthy and that he needs to stay in touch with those important to him. Musically, "FLAKE" is an intoxicating and experimental sonic playground complete with woozy psych-pop guitars, downtempo beats and smooth melancholic rich vocals. The song is a tapestry of genres and Clarence James' ability to blend them is uncanny.

Clarence James is a rising classically trained artist who began experimenting with his own musical creation at a young age. Armed with his guitar and old mac, he released his track “Ronson Princess” as a teen and the song went viral racking up over 12 million streams to date. Since then, the prolific artist has built a fervent fanbase who is drawn to his musical authenticity and experimentation. Check out Clarence James' new single now and share the track with all your friends.
