London trio Husky Loops swerves into various sonic directions on unapologetic EP ultrarama, building on distorted yet uplifting instrumentals framed by experimentation and reinvention.
Weaving through themes of illusion, innocence, impact, the EP brims with a chaotic yet raw vibe as it encapsulates an adventurous and expansive experience within only three tracks. Led by “Again Replay,” with a fresh and textured style, the collection sees them tap into the innovative musicality that won people’s hearts and hones in further with an expressive, free-flowing touch.
Speaking of the EP, the band says, “It’s not about pleasing others or fitting to a format: I am writing music that satisfies the need inside me of expressing something real, without overthinking it. We are making the art we want to listen to, the music that can fill the gap between our imagination and what comes out of the speakers. And if no one cares… we do, and that’s the point.”
Having carved a space for themselves with their debut album I CAN’T EVEN SPEAK ENGLISH, Husky Loops continue to establish themselves as a force to be reckoned with.
