We head to London, UK with the aid of rising singer-songwriter and producer BVDHI whose blend of 90s R&B with a modern off-centre twist caught our undivided attention. Her debut release "Tie-Dye", is a mellow soulful number that explores blossoming love and the twists and turns that will unfold as time passes by between two lovers. The self-produced record is made up of sombre and moody pads, bass-driven grooves and a layered melodic arrangement that exudes earworm sensibilities. Here BVDHI details her true desires with lines like "But I only want ya/Dreamin' about ya/But I never gave it up for free/You wont get the best of me/I only want ya/Obsessin' about ya" as she basks in the euphoria of infatuation.
The single is a precursor to a longer project set to launch later in 2024, so we can expect more music from the rising singer.
