Rising rapper and songwriter LITLIKEVIK kicks off his 2024 with the release of his debut album titled WALKING CONTRADICTION, the 10-track body of work that explores the complexities of life. Over solid hard-hitting beats, the rapper gives listeners a glimpse into his journey as an artist and young man looking for purpose.

The project opens up with "LLVINO", a mid-tempo soul-infused trap track underpinned by LITLIKEVIK's introspective rhymes that shed light on his current state of mind. The second track "SOL" is a bouncy track with dark pop elements and off-center vibes. Here, LITLIKEVIK gets a bit vulnerable as he shares his thoughts about a woman he is in love with. He pours several adulations on her and also flexes his lyrical prowess as follows "With that mocha butter skin/Got an attitude like gin/Way she talkin with them hips/ She know what she doin". Next is "FYAYWT" a moody and brooding tune that talks about being stuck in a never-ending cycle and hurtful words from detractors. He shows pure irreverence for naysayers and the authorities though and decides to carve his destiny.  He switches the feeling with the pop-infused "WRISTBAND" and embodies the rockstar hiphop star with emo-vibes. Backed by the booming backdrop, he delivers his rhyme with a laidback and lazy melodic flow and caps it with a soothing hook. This is followed by the anthemic "RELAPSE" a rock-infused trap tune ripe with punchy drums, electrifying guitar riffs and the rappers' expressive flow and somewhat sparse songwriting. he sure is having fun with it but he still pours his emotions into it. "HEAVEN" is a reflective tune that sees LITLIKEVIK looking inward and reflecting on his life's struggles and a weird experience with ayahuasca. Over the bouncy and soulful soundscape, he delivers a fiery performance ripe with vivid storytelling with lines like  "Look, all love though,Used to go through O's of the bud in a month like shit that was way too much hoe/Then I tripped balls drank Ayahuasca in a tiny little village outtside of Cusco Met my inner beast found my inner peace/ In sobriety and how I really needa be a better me".

The project closes with the atmospheric  "YONJKERS" and the sombre "CHAPTER 29". The former is boastful and experimental while the latter is introspective and somewhat rueful as LITLIKEVIK takes time to reflect on his current disposition with a dash of regret and hope. he doesn't wallow in his pain much and acknowledges his predicament as he plans to get better in due time.

In summary WALKING CONTRADICTION, is a mixed bag of emotions that range from personal aspirations, regret, hopes, dreams and sadness. LITLIKEVIK employs a plethora of styles and shows promise as someone who has embodied the ever-growing style of modern rap and he is not afraid to go out the box at certain times.
