Virginia rock based musician and songwriter Matney has unleashed his single "All Fired Up". The song is produced by multi-platinum producer/guitarist Stevie Salas (Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart) and is off of his forthcoming album.
With "All Fired Up", Matney creates a single all about the intoxication and fun found in a night out on the town. The track takes influence from that invigorating feeling of late night enjoyment and feeling confident and firing on all cylinders. Lyrics including, "Turning heads and kicking up dust / Looking good make a preacher lust / Poor sinner made of flesh and bone I betcha whisky and chrome that I'm taking that home," show that Matney is ready to light up the room and seduce the ladies. Musically, "All Fired Up" features an invigorating drum beat, blazing electric guitar riff and Matney's signature growling whisky-drenched vocals. The songwriting is top notch and "All Fired Up" takes the listener on an exciting rock n' roll ride filled with desire, joy and naughtiness.
Matney is the new musical project of musician and singer/songwriter Michael Matney. The creator blends rock, heavy metal, blues and funk for an interwoven listening experience and hard-hitting good time. Growing up in rural Virginia, Matney has overcome personal struggles including grief and addiction and uses his music to not only help himself but help others. "All Fired Up" is the first taste of his upcoming album and we can't wait to hear what is next from this riser.
