Portland-based singer-songwriter Julia Logue blends neo-soul with jazz in her new release titled "Welcome To Your Sunrise". The track is ripe with rich guitar plucks, warm pianos rousing drums all underpinned by her soul-stirring vocal runs and heartfelt lyrics that dwell on her journey from self-doubt to finally believing in herself. With lines like "Don't let them look you in your eye they don't understand, understand/Welcome to your sunrise, welcome to your life, won't go to plan/Now you see the sun is bright, coming down on you/But now you see, the sun it blinds, not looking out for you" aim to give listeners that much-needed push to rise through the rumble to take hold of their destinies.
