HorseTheOne has shared a hard-hitting new single, titled “Shut Up Btc”. Born and raised in the Parkside Projects of East Detroit, 22 year-old rapper HorseTheOne began his rap career in 2020, continuing to build momentum with a series of raw, immense releases. Bolstered by the buzz he was building inside Detroit and beyond, he signed with the independent record label, Grizzley Gang Music, as a protege of multi-platinum recording artist Tee Grizzley. Despite still being early in his music career, Horse showcases an expansive catalog, working with the likes of artists such as Booka600 and FredoBang. For his latest song, “Shut Up Btc”, he delivers a track true to his raw, gritty roots in Detroit’s hip-hop sound, with booming, silvery production and cutting flows.
Atop cathartic, steady 808s, crisp percussion, and winding, ominous synth lines HorseTheOne weaves together urgent flows with a confident delivery. Tackling the bass-heavy instrumental with ease, his charismatic vocals capture the listener’s energy with their potency and focus.
After a short stint of being incarcerated in federal prison during Summer 2023, HorseTheOne is free and hopping back into the rap game with a new level of hunger and ambition.
