Well-known producer HEVI LEVI shares melodic-techno production “Don’t You Want,” delivering his own interpretation of the 90s hit “Don’t You Want Me,” by British House producer Felix.
Featuring bouncing basslines and cascading synths, the track is a layered and hypnotically progressive track that strikes an intricate balance between darker elements of Techno with the danceability of house music.
Enchanting and melodious as it builds upon trance elements and an explosive drop, the anthemic track makes for an immersive and transportive listening experience.
Speaking of the track, he says, "When I was a beginner DJ and young, I was always captivated by a track called 'Don't You Want Me' by Felix. So I decided that I am going to bring it back to life with a 2023 version with my own sound and vibe."
Levi has also teamed with artist Nora Solomon who will create a mesmerising painting on a large canvas while listening to each track. The entire creative process will be documented and transformed into a captivating music video, with the final painting being used as the actual track's artwork, making for stunning and immersive audio-visual experience.
With a musical style is deeply reminiscent of artists like Kevin de Vries, ARTBAT, and Saint Vie, HEVI LEVI continues to make his presence known with his mesmerizing artistry that strikes a chord within mainstream and underground scenes in equal amounts.
