Up and coming alternative/indie producer and singer frances willow makes a strong first impression with luscious alt indie rock anthem “anna banana,” offering up a smooth blend of soft acoustic sounds with dainty synths and subtle vocal lines.

With an ethereal yet rock-tinged musicality brought to life by layering gently passionate vocal delivery with a gritty touch and distorted guitars, the track manages to balance a wistful mood with plenty of power.

Speaking of the track, she says, “I started writing the track when I was 13, I had an argument with a friend as one does when they are a teenager, and wrote the chorus of this song. In my second year of university, I decided to revisit it as a task to myself and ended up really liking the outcome, this song was also the beginning of my new alias and helped create and shape the sound I wanted to have for 'Frances Willow’”

Using a variety of electronic and acoustic experimentation with a classic band nuance, willow offers up a dark and intense yet sweet and optimistic artistry led by poetic narratives, to set herself up as an act to watch out for.
