UK singer-songwriter Miki Rose first popped on our radar some two years ago when she released her animated video for her song “Back to Complicated” and now she is back with a new record "Beautiful" which reminded us why we adore her music. The track sees her working with her brother MMB (Marcus Makes Beats) who gifts her a lofi and soul-infused hip-hop canvas to work on. Miki's whispered vocals cut through the mix like a hot knife through butter as her sultry melodies rise to a plateau alongside the solemn backdrop. Here, Miki implores us to shed our insecurities and live up to our potential with insightful and uplifting lyrics like "They Don’t know/They don’t know who they are/One Day they’ll know/But that might take them awhile".
"Beautiful" marks the first publicly released collaboration for Miki’s up-and-coming brother and producer and serves as the first of many musical collaborations between the two.
