Crossover singer-songwriter, saxophonist, and entertainer Inusa Dawuda a.k.a the“Black Pharaoh”  delves into the struggles of everyday life on electrifying yet soulful single “Waka Wake Day & Night,” framed by Dawuda’s signature soulful afro artistry.

With a visceral and emotive vocal line rooted in richness and raspy undertones, stretching across plucky guitars, lush pads, swooping sax riffs and intricate rhythms, the groovy anthem balances a laid-back vibe with a poignant message on suffering and hardship, exploring the universal need to constantly work, to pay the bills and put food on the table.

Encapsulating the trials and tribulations of the poor and underprivileged, Dawuda showcases an ability to craft emotionally charged and resonant anthems with plenty to say and feel, wrapped up in warm and vibrant musicality.

A trailblazing talent who has honed in on an experimental and constantly evolving sound, the Ghana-born,Germany-based act offers up vivid and anthemic sonic tales that transport us.
