Los Angeles based producer, songwriter and composer RYTERBAND is back with another intriguing musical moment. Called "Lies" the song is off of his sophomore EP Echoes set to release later this year.

With "Lies" RYTERBAND pens a relatable song all about the lack of true intimacy in many relationships. Sometimes it is safer to be with someone half heartedly than to be alone and with "Lies" RYTERBAND discusses this issue that many of us face. The song also touches upon the internet and how many people are addicted to it and form superficial bonds online. Lyrics including, "But I didn't speak my mind, no / Cuz I didn't want to be alone / Call it "compromise" and I / Play along," show how the thought of being on one's own sometimes trumps being our true selves in an intimate bond. Sonically, "Lies" features moody synths, echoing soul baring vocals and an anthemic chorus for a thrilling listen. Pop-laden hooks standout in this mid tempo electronic darkwave reverie.

The music video is a perfect accompaniment to the song and the single's narrative. The video tells the story of a lonely man who is enticed and seduced by a camgirl, ultimately falling in love with a relationship that is not real. Magenta hues of purple and pink gleam against dark backdrops for a cinematic watch.

RYTERBAND began sharing music in 2020 and since then has already garnered a dedicated fan base and millions of streams. He is known for blurring genres and his music is often showcased in various TV shows and films. Check out "Lies" now and share this musical gem.
