SNOW WIFE has teamed up with Big Boss Vette on a song that is a showcase of their respective fields, which also happens to double as a musical experience marking a significant shift in SNOW WIFE's artistic journey from rap to pop.

*Language warning: the song contains explicit lyrics that may not be for everyone

SNOW WIFE's "HIT IT" is the type of song that draws you in with its very first opening note – not to overlook its punchy production – as she brings together influences pop, alternative, and rap, to blend together an aesthetic landscape that is infectious and dynamic – developed with collaborators such as slush puppy and Jason Hahs.

With this new song, you are getting a showcase of digital, punchy-pop and vocal performances – which are a level on their own – adding depth and character to the song's shared performance across its two-minute and 22-second runtime. It is clear in this song that SNOW WIFE continues to redefine her style – following the release of her debut in in March – as both an artist and a lyricist, and this song's rolling effect with its glitchy chorus, is a perfect example of the power to use recurring lyrical expression for storytelling. In fact, SNOW WIFE's story is exemplified in the overall narrative of this song, which is about telling the reflection of her own perspective, shaped by her upbringing and the challenges she has faced during her personal and professional journey.

Bringing in Big Boss Vette as the vocal collaborator on the song is a nice touch as well, as both artists' chemistry is evident within their shared vocal exchanges – going back and forth in lyrical wit – to create a synergy that elevates this track to its climatic end. Not only is this song a good showcase of SNOW WIFE's transition from hyper-pop rap to pop-leaning rap, but also a showcase of Big Boss Vette's contribution adding a layer of authenticity and appeal with commanding vocal dominance.

SNOW WIFE · HIT IT (feat. Big Boss Vette)

Coming off the release of SNOW WIFE's mixtape due out this week, I cannot express enough how much this new song serves as a perfectly crafted showcase of SNOW WIFE's growing evolution as an artist and a promising glimpse into her future.
