Rising Luton, UK-based hip-hop duo Another U is the newest pair to hit the scene with their brand of futuristic melodic raps. Made up of brothers Niels and Karl, who initially started as solo artists but recently paired up to solidify their talents as independent artists.
Their debut release “Feellikeme!” is a self-produced record that serves as an introduction to the duo. Produced by Niels, the track has a blend of thumping bass-driven drums, and cinematic synths and arpeggios that sound like video-game blips and set the tone for their distinct melodic raps steeped in that classic UK vibe. Niels led the charge with his rich processed vocals and braggadocio raps followed by Karl’s tempered and heavy vocal tone. Together they both usher listeners into their world with their expressive performance and off-the-cuff bravado. The song also comes with an AI-infused visual that accentuates the duo’s edgy futuristic style. From the extensive use of performance shots, seamlessly flowing into different locations, the visual is as energetic as they come and it’s extremely captivating from start to finish.
