Lily Hain taps into a place of frustration and anger on confessional anthem "Internalize"

Indie alt-pop singer/songwriter Lily Hain taps into a place of frustration and anger on confessional anthem “Internalize,” which brings moody lyrics, a grungy bassline and soaring vocals together to delve into the journey of self-healing.

Offering up a grittier take on her signature earworm melodic style, the relatable and wildly catchy track is anthemic yet vulnerable as Hain reflects on how our work to heal ourselves can sometimes be brought to a grinding halt due to people walking over our boundaries and minimising us.

Speaking of the track, she sayts, “It’s about the pitfalls of being a people pleaser, the journey of self-healing, and trying to break the unhealthy cycles that we sometimes find ourselves in. It was really cathartic to make and I think it’ll be a song that I come back to when I need a reminder to stand up for myself.”

Finding her space in the NYC alt-pop scene through her soulful performances, authentic song writing and seamless blend of various genres, Hain hones her distinctive sonic identity and establishes herself as a force to be reckoned with.
