Belgian LA-based electronic/downtempo producer Tristan De Liège teams up with Luxembourg-hailing, Amsterdam-based rising jazz quartet Jambal delivers luscious number “The Great Wave,” giving a peek their new album Enterprises of Great Pith and Moment.

Whipping up a rich fusion of jazz and electronica built on drums and keys alongside fuzzy chords and strings, the track strikes a balance between experimental and emotional with ease.

Speaking of the collaboration, the artists said, “This collaboration is very special to us, for many reasons. It is Tristan's first foray into making a jazz album with a band, and it is Jambal's first full-length album. Jambal's European jazz aesthetics meeting Tristan's inspirations from living in Los Angeles and collaborating with electronic and jazz players there resulted in a beautiful and interesting synergy.”

The track is a delectable glimpse of the layered and cohesive sonic world of guitar riffs, melancholic keys, trumpet crescendos and intricate drum patterns that the album will offer us. With an emotive and expressive core that shines bright on each individual track, the album is set to be a showcase of continuity, individual brilliance and an instrumental celebration.
