Inspired by people watching during a trip to the UK, and ruminating on the intricate labyrinth that is the London Underground as well as the myriad of stories behind those that use it day after day, the track is an observational and poignant number that feels like the perfect representation of the everyday lives of people that pass us by.
Having formed in 2021 by multi-instrumentalists, songwriters, and brothers Brendan and Michael Etherington, alongside Mat Hooler on keys and James Manning on bass with a regular guest appearance from Melbourne saxophonist Bella McMahon, Square Dance Caller have developed as a refreshing act you don’t want to miss out on.
