Renowned composer Conor Mulroy unveils the first track from upcoming project Still Water, kicking off an immersive sonic journey with the hypnotic energy of “Still Water Part 1,” featuring Tristan Clarridge and Simon Chrisman.

Showcasing an intricate jigsaw of soundscapes highlighting guitar, hammered dulcimer, and cello within a live acoustic chamber music setting, the track makes for an enchanting listen.

The first offering of an ambitious collection that roots itself in Mulroy’s penchant for pushing the boundaries of musical genres and styles, the harmonious production is an alluring glimpse of the 10-part project which “explores the development of musical material without changing the harmony, like a fast-moving river whose surface appears to be still water."

With 15 full-length albums behind him and fresh from completing a doctorate in music composition, Mulroy’s forthcoming project is sure to be a captivating and serene slice of sonic experimentation and exploration.
