Lyrics including, “We were something dumb / but we were damn courageous / I don’t regret it / and I was drunk when I told you I loved you / what I meant was I want you to love me,” show just how layered emotions are during certain breakups and how even though the relationship didn’t last it was worthy of that time and place. “No Regrets” can best be described sonically as truly captivating. The song begins with poignant piano and Kat’s warm vocals. The song soon culminates into a transformative chorus full of her immersive and introspective falsetto.
