Mae Deline returns home to herself in "Whole Again"

Confessional singer/songwriter Mae Deline has returned with an important self love anthem "Whole Again". The folk-laced indie pop track follows the release of her singles "Future You And Future Me" and "Black Hole" shared earlier this year.

With "Whole Again" Mae Deline pens a song during a time of deep despair and low self esteem. Following a breakup and in the midst of an existential crisis, the songwriter began to look within for a personal connection to the universe to ultimately find peace and healing. Lyrics including, "Make me whole again / I'm feeling so lonely / I'm feeling so sad /My quiet guardian angel / Tellin' Me / That somethin' wasn't right," show that Mae understand the path she is on isn't her true self and she must make a change. Sonically, "Whole Again" begins with melancholic piano chords, lush acoustic guitars and Mae Deline's soul-baring vocals. The song culminates into an uplifting chorus full of gorgeous floating melodies. Mae Deline blends elements of folk, pop, soul and rock for an intoxicating musical journey.

Mae Deline began sharing music in 2018 with her witty pop rock single "Animal". Since then, the raw and candid songwriter has shared a handful of thoughtful releases. Inspired by the likes of Alanis Morisette, Paul McCartney and Bjork, Mae Deline concocts her own unique sonic fusion with classic and timeless references.
