Ela Ozturk has released her tender new single, “Healing.” With a gentle-slow beat and soft melody, the emotionally charged track fuses heartache with confident vocals through the trials and tribulations of love. “Healing” is now available on all digital platforms worldwide.

Centered on a love that no longer exists, “Healing” takes listeners through a rollercoaster of emotions with delicate and angelic rhythms and hard-hitting lyrics. When asked about the story behind “Healing,” Ozturk says, “‘Healing’ is about continuously returning to a love that no longer serves you, and getting to terms with the fact that you can’t heal in the places you get hurt in.” It’s about finally letting go even though it's painful because, in the end, you know it’s more painful to stay.” The track carries the idea of letting go of someone you love, as hard as it may be. Relatable and comforting, Ozturk creates a sentimental ambiance of moving on to better love while waving goodbye to the one that no longer serves her. “Healing” was written by Ela Ozturk, Morgan Clae, and Tommy Sanker, produced by Morgan Clae, and mixed by Tommy Sanker.

Ela Ozturk is a Turkish-American singer-songwriter local to the Bay Area. After falling in love with music at a young age, she could fully indulge in sound because her father encouraged her passion for music. Immersing herself in various artists, genres, and music movements, Ozturk found musical influences all around her. Blending multiple genres ranging from pop, jazz, blues, and R&B, she quickly gains traction through her unique style and powerful storytelling. With champions supporting her at Ones To Watch, Prelude Press, and FEMMUSIC, Ela Ozturk continues to make a name for herself.

Ela Ozturk’s new single is a heartfelt goodbye to old love with a soft undertone and unique ethereal sounds. “Healing” showcases the relatable experience of love not returning and the yearning for it to be.
