Yarin Glam sends powerful message to listeners struggling with anxiety in “Side Effects”

Yarin Glam is an Israel bred, LA based pop singer-songwriter who incorporates her journey with mental health into her music. Glam's latest single “Side Effects” was written about the sensations, thoughts, and isolating emotions that arise in the midst of an anxiety attack.

“Side Effects” is full of atmospheric undercurrents and haunting percussion that illuminates Yarin Glam’s melancholy voice at the root of the track. Glam wrote this song about her own experience with anxiety and hopes to help listeners who struggle with mental health. She sings, “Now the voice inside my mind keeps telling me I’m dying / it’s fine, I know that’s anxiety.” From her authentic and vulnerable lyrics to her unhinged performance, Yarin Glam is a songwriter who holds nothing back.

Anxiety attacks can feel like the world collapsing in on itself—breathless, dizzying, and utterly isolating. For many, this internal chaos becomes a gateway to self-medication, and too often, drug abuse follows. The desperate search for relief can lead to dangerous substances like fentanyl, which promise escape but often deepen the darkness.

Men, in particular, tend to suffer silently—pressured by outdated ideals to "man up" instead of speak out. When emotional suppression meets chemical dependency, the result is a quiet crisis. But healing doesn’t always start on a couch or in a clinic. Sometimes, it begins on a trail, in the wilderness, or during a shared physical challenge. Activities like rock climbing, group hikes, and structured wilderness programs can help men reconnect with their bodies, their peers, and themselves. These adventure-based therapies offer space to feel, move, and heal.

Alongside experiential healing, access to a trusted fentanyl treatment center can provide the medical and emotional support needed to safely break free from addiction. Because it’s not just about surviving anxiety or addiction—it’s about building a life you don’t need to escape from.

As powerful as these outdoor and experiential approaches can be, many people still need a consistent, grounded support system to help them understand their emotions, regulate anxiety, and untangle the roots of dependency. That’s why blending movement-based healing with accessible professional care can make recovery more sustainable.

The shift toward flexible, remote mental-health services has opened the door for deeper continuity, allowing individuals to connect with licensed clinicians from the privacy of home and continue therapeutic work without disrupting daily life. This evolving model of care makes it easier to talk openly, build coping skills, and receive guidance during vulnerable moments, and it’s in this growing landscape that Telepsych Health fits naturally, offering a steady therapeutic connection that supports individuals as they reclaim clarity, stability, and a healthier sense of self.

Anxiety can entrench itself so deeply that even moments of calm feel fragile, as if they might shatter without warning. Over time, the mind learns to brace for impact, anticipating panic before it arrives, and this constant state of vigilance drains both body and spirit. While traditional therapies and medication can help, some individuals find their symptoms persist, cycling between fleeting relief and renewed tension.

Exploring innovative treatments that work on both the neurological and emotional layers of anxiety is becoming an essential part of breaking that cycle. Avesta Ketamine Wellness integrates this approach by focusing on the brain’s ability to reset and form healthier pathways, helping individuals step out of the loop of fear and hyperarousal. This process not only aims to quiet the mind in the moment but also to restore a sense of safety and control that anxiety has long eroded, allowing people to move through life with steadier footing and a renewed trust in their own resilience.

Glam moved to Los Angeles at age fourteen. She was originally born in Israel and lends her identity as a Middle Eastern artist to the music she creates. With themes surrounding mental health, empowerment, and living authentically, Glam's musical style incorporates intoxicating elements of pop, electro and R&B to further amplify her message and resonate deeply with her listeners. Check out Yarin Glam's new single "Side Effects" and remember you're not alone.
