Multi-faceted Bulgarian pop singer/songwriter Ruth Koleva has just shared her latest single and music video. Called "Energy", the track is the first of the year from this acclaimed performer.
"Energy" is an upbeat, colorful pop single all about reveling in the evening party and feeling confident and alive. Lyrics including, "We will be up all night / I love to feel alive / fire it up / nothing can stop me / energy like no other," show just how excited and ready for adventure Ruth Koleva is, holding nothing back as she enjoys herself. Sonically, "Energy" impresses with addicting pop hooks, striking synths and a stunning falsetto vocal. The invigorating dance pop tune was released alongside a cinematic music video. Shot in the Mining Museum in Bulgaria, Ruth is seen with her friends partying and dancing the evening away in artistic and wild wardrobes adding a perfect visual compliment to the music.
Ruth Koleva is a dynamic songwriter, performer and singer who uses her music to bring much needed awareness to LGBTQI+ rights, mental illness awareness and other important causes. Born in post-Communist Eastern Europe, a young Ruth left Poland with her father due to the extreme financial collapse. Living in countries including Thailand, Bahrain and India, the songwriter used these unique life experiences as influences in her music.
