Norfolk-raised singer-songwriter Leo Lore was raised in a multicultural home with an English father and a mother with Yemeni and Romanian heritage. Surrounded by various forms of music being played by his older siblings, he absorbed a healthy dose of sounds ranging from classics from Billie Holiday, and Ray Charles to modern innovative artists such as Pip Millet and Cleo Sol amongst others.

In his latest release titled "Belly", he goes for a soulful, reggae, and dub-infused sound that helps showcase his versatility as a performer and songwriter. With the aid of Dub Cavern who crafts him a soul-stirring soundscape made up of a head-nodding drum groove, lush organ riffs and a gripping guitar lead to match.

Leo sounds at home here and delivers a brilliant performance ripe with insightful songwriting and earworm melodies that keep listeners locked in. In the song, he explores the pitfalls of longing for someone who you know is not good for you. It's quite relatable and the icing on the cake is the raw unfiltered delivery from Leo.
