Nottingham, UK-based neo-soul duo MELONYX is back with a new single titled "Solar Power" and we love it. The sun-drenched single sees them teaming with Brighton-based producer and multi-instrumentalist J-Felix who gifts them with a warm and serene soundscape filled with rich layered pads, funky basslines and an overall calm aesthetic. As the title suggests, the soul sisters Georgia Copeland and Nadia Latoya proceed to thrill listeners with their earworm melodic performances rich in layered harmonies and an undeniable emotional warmth as they celebrate and pay homage to the celestial body that gives life to all beings. The accompanying visuals for "Solar Power" continues the sun theme with its bright colourful motifs and watercolour visual effects that exude life, love and light.
"Solar Power" is the follow-up single to their Black Elixir EP produced by renowned producer and fellow Nottingham-based artist Joe Buhdha, and subsequent remixes from Cian McCann AKA Zero T and Bruk Rogers.
