Alt/rock four-piece band WESSON have just unveiled their new single “Made Me Happy.” The British band speaks about the importance of putting yourself first in order to make you happy. We often bend and mold ourselves to please others, even if it's at an inconvenience, but WESSON are here to tell you to stop, think about yourself and do whatever makes you happy.
Lead singer Chris Wesson sings, “Now I’m not blaming you, I’d probably do it too, If I was in your shoes, looking back it’s easy to see, I’d do what made me happy.” Emphasizing how life is too short and how we should always live unapologetically ourselves, “Made Me Happy” is an upbeat, anthem featuring animated guitar lines, toe-tapping percussion, soaring harmonies and the ultimate catchy chorus.
You can certainly hear the band’s influence from artists including The Beatles, Radiohead and The Stone Roses, as their big and bold instrumentation mixes with rich, full production to create a song that will be stuck in your head all day long.
