Formed in 2015, Roots of Eternity consists of multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and composer Jeff Stork and Catie Brandt of Stone Divide – the current vocalist. The band's style is a mix of heavy melodic rock and power metal, with albums based around Science Fiction elements. In preparation of their third studio album, expected this fall, Roots of Eternity released their new single, "The Long Way Out" on December 2, 2022.
Putting the band's Sci-Fi and Fantasy elements into action immediately, "The Long Way Out" revolves around powerful melodies and ambient vocals. Stork's instrumental skills are put to the test, as he strings together a sequence of catchy hard rock riffs and drums to match. The chorus is met with groovy synthesizers, completing the track's sound.
