UK six-piece The Barefoot Bandit have just dropped their brand new album Hello Welcome with the striking single "Criminal Damage", taking their eclectic sound to new heights. Seamlessly blending reggae, dub, electronica and even punk rock and world music,

"Criminal Damage" is vibrant and enticing, bringing familiar reggae and dub elements to the forefront with slick production and ear-worming melodies. The addition of brass riffs brings a joyful sound and an intriguing juxtaposition both sonically and in keeping with the track's lyrical theme, which the band describe as being “about a true event where someone we know ruined an allotment patch when they were young. The song is basically expressing that mistakes are made and you (hopefully) learn from them.”

The album was recorded at Karma Sound Studios in Thailand, which the band describe as "taking you on a journey from the South-West of England to South-East Asia". Having played at venues such as Electric Ballroom, Camden and made themselves known at the likes of Glastonbury Festival and more, The Barefoot Bandit are becoming a must-see live act with support from loyal fans and tastemakers alike.
