A ‘Top Seven’ finalist on Season 18 of ABC’s American Idol in 2019, Louis Knight’s career has been going from strength to strength. Working in close partnership with Matt Weber and legendary Grammy award-winning mix engineer Michael Brauer, Louis has managed to release a string of well-received solo singles. However, he’s determined to make the last part of 2022 his, and he’s putting a stamp on it.

His newest offering comes in the form of the single “Never Enough.” An infectious offering, the single showcases a vulnerable side whilst presenting an enticing musical exterior. Instrumentally, the song features a melting pot of rhythmic guitars, simple but effective percussion and heartwarming piano lines. On top, his vocals come wrapped up in pop sensibilities, but are emotionally penned and work hand in glove with a heartfelt lyrical accompaniment.

Revealing all about his new single, Louis Knight shares: “It's about feeling you're never enough for someone. I think a lot of people can fall into feeling this way in an imbalanced relationship. I moved across the country to LA with my ex-girlfriend. Living together started to cause many cracks in our relationship and one day in an argument, she said no matter what she did, it never felt like enough for me. I also never felt enough in the relationship. I wrote that line down on my phone immediately and took it to my writing session the next day. As soon as I touched the piano, I instantly sang the line "it's never enough for you" and we knew that was the hook!”.

Heavily inspired by the likes of renowned artists including Jon Bellion, Lewis Capaldi, Sam Fender and Ed Sheeran, Louis sultry voice and ‘heart-on-your-sleeve’ releases speak to the universal longings of hope and perseverance.
