Brooklyn is the backdrop for a huge collaboration between Japanese-American DJ and producer Haruka Salt, producer/DJ Tony G and Chinese-American rapper Bohan Phoenix. All three pulled together to create the explosive new single “Papajam” released via tuscan sounds.
“Papajam” is a decadent and illustrious fusion of house, techno, pop and hip-hop for a fun-loving dance tune. The trio got together in Brooklyn to create the song and collaborate for the first time, all impressed with what one another added sonically to the track. The stream-of-consciousness lyrics are in both Mandarin and in English and are filled with swagger and confidence, "I been so, tired of they talking / I don't listen to yo shit no thats for realz /You gon have to run that shit back /100 times before I catch a fuckin feel." “Papajam” is a song all about claiming your power and not letting the haters get you down.
