Canadian alt-rock trio Little Destroyer drops feminist debut full-length 1134, balancing playful vibrance with ominous strength led by pulsating instrumentals and addictive vocals line. Encapsulating a woman’s struggle to live freely and safely in this world, the album is filled with fierce anthems that can empower from the first note till the last.

Opening with expansive, synth-driven number “godcomplex,” before moving into the sultry stylings of “sucker4u,” the alluring album builds upon a strong beginning to showcase their versatility whether on the electro-tinged, pumped-up focus track “only way out,” on the softer tones of “timezone,” which highlights frontwoman Allie Sheldan’s passionate voice.

Merging fluid sonic delicacy with an unapologetic grittiness, the genre-blended act offer up a winning combination of a carefree, good time with impactful lyrical narratives that give you pause to think as they continue to cement an impressive space in music.
