Andii Styron delivers a soulful series of stories on "Thawing Out"

South Florida-based singer/songwriter Andii Styron is gradually building her stats as a skillful artist with a catchy EP, "Thawing Out," a follows up on her previous popular single and Eps release, "AMERICA (Secrets & Money)," "My Friend," and "In My Own Way."

The EP starts with "Heavy," a powerful note, and a southern rock style, for the drums hit with pure fury. On "In My Own Way," the twang of the riffs underpins the strength of her vocals. Chords intertwine, resulting in this kaleidoscopic ethos that revels in the gorgeous instrumentation.

Parts of it even take a page out of Bob Dylan's poignant insight. Right with the world, the pastoral bliss of "You Thought" has a springtime sense of sunniness to them. Breaking out into a perfect self-assured strut "(Tell Me) How It Feels" has an elegance working itself up into a gospel-worthy breakdown.

With "Slip of The Tongue," the narrative comes full circle, as it ties together all that came before it in a righteous, deserved fashion.
