Los Angeles based acclaimed musician and singer/songwriter Scott Goldbaum has just released his second single off of his forthcoming EP. Called "Mourning Coffee," the track follows his debut single "Drive Too Fast" shared earlier this year.
With "Mourning Coffee", Scott Goldbaum writes a song all about codependency, specifically in romantic relationships. It is important to realize the distinction between wanting someone and needing someone and "Mourning Coffee" explores this important difference. With lyrics including "My head against yours / be the bandage / I wish I could navigate the world," Goldbaum poetically relays that feeling of being lost without that person you are in a relationship with and points out how important self reliance is.
