Pop singer/songwriter and creator Mel 4Ever creates raw and authentic releases that are infectious and relatable. Her fifth single shared this year is the intense club worthy anthem "I HATE U."

With "I HATE U", Mel 4Ever captures that strong feeling of hatred in all its forms. Whether someone hurts you, betrays you or simply is a terrible person, Mel 4Ever gives a voice to those who feel anger and relays the relatable feeling of wanting to hurt them back. The autobiographical song is about Mel 4Ever's relationship with her family who do not accept her for being trans. She confides, "my family does not accept who I am and what I choose to do and that makes me hate them. But I know that if we could sit down and talk to each other and touch, things could be resolved. But neither of us are willing to do such a thing."

With lyrics including, " I don't know why I even bother / everytime I always feel smaller / but when you walk away / there is nothing left to say but / I just fucking hate you", "I HATE U" is a lyrical release of pent up agression, sadness and resentment. Sonically, "I HATE U" features industrial drenched bouncy beats, soaring vocals and catchy melodies for an enthralling sonic journey.

Mel 4Ever blends hyper punk with electronica and pop for a unique sound all of her own. Her music touches upon important themes such as dealing with sobriety, abuse and overcoming trauma. Take a listen to "I HATE U" now and remember to release the angst you have inside.
