Emerging Bulgarian singer and songwriter Leena has been building her stats in the thriving Bulgarian R&B scene and her debut album Labyrinth of the Subconscious helped garner some buzz with several curators and ad platforms alike. Her latest single "Planet 333" is the aftermath of her meeting with fellow Bulgarian Kamen during her studies in the UK. Both artists first worked on an EP Sooner or Later for their final project at the university and after returning to Bulgaria, they continued their ongoing musical endeavors.
"Planet 333" is an experimental and distinct R&B-infused record that blends brooding soundscapes with ethereal melodic runs with an eclectic approach. The record starts off with hazy and sublime pads and lush synths that slowly build as Leena's airy chorus comes into play. Leena's soothing vocals engulf the soundscape as she croons for relief asking to be taken home where everything will be alright and she won't have to worry about much. The record is quite brief and stops short of the three-minute mark with its straightforward arrangement that contains ebbs and flows as the verses and chorus flow in tandem with one another.
"Planet 333" is taken from Leena and Kamen's collaborative 4-track EP entitled Sequence 02.
