Dublin pop-punk duo Steady Decline drop acoustic-tinged pop-punk ballad “Erase Me,” about being haunted by and trying to move on from a toxic relationship.

The emotive number carried by a soaring vocals and melancholic song writing over a rich instrumentation of electric guitars and drum beats, has been in the making for a few years.

Speaking of the track, co-vocalists and guitarists Oscar Hackettand Jack Wright, say “It’s gone through various versions and during the last two years we finally got around to finishing it and recording it the way we always envisioned with our good friend and producer Ciaran Nevin.”

Forming when the pair were gigging as separate acoustic acts, Steady Decline have established themselves a force to be reckoned with since recording their first EP Coping Mechanismand consistently building presence through gigging since 2017.

With the aggressive yet infectious soundscape of their first release in 2022 “Start Over,” the duo continue to showcase how addictive their artistry can be with this latest offering.
