Since the release of his 2019 debut single "Better" which brought him to the spotlight, London-based singer-songwriter and producer Scott Is Okay has released his latest single "2042" taken from his forthcoming debut EP Realizing How to Act in Certain Instances. Released via Yada Yada Records, the new single showcases Scott’s laid-back and lo-fi pop approach, with electronic experimental sonics.

Throughout this irresistibly catchy indie pop single, drones, dreary vocals and glitchy sounds offer a majestic hearing that reminds you of an Unknown Mortal Orchestra track with that delightful old school sound. The hazy glitch sounds throughout all bring out the lofi indie sound, and demonstrates why Scott’s on the radar as one of the UK’s finest tastemakers and up-and-coming artists out of the UK today.

"2042" is the first single from a forthcoming EP,Which Scott describes as "a labor of love. I had no idea what I wanted to do after an already failed and unfinished attempt at an EP before this one. I pretty much finished writing and recording all the songs in a short period of time, but it was over a year of tinkering and refining things people probably wouldn’t even notice. It was a lesson in a way, to just trust my instinct when creating.”
