Irish alt-pop musician Saige delves into young love and heartbreak on “Sparks,” led by her husky vocals to bring to life a tale of her own relationship and its final moments. With a soothing yet infectious soundscape blending hazy beats and moody synths together, the groovy number showcases the rising act’s sonic refinement.

Painting a vivid picture of rose-tinted naivete versus cynicism in love, the emotive lyricism captures Saige’s personal relationship but is sure to resonate with anyone who has wanted to protect their heart from losing its ability to feel and treasure love.

The title track of her forthcoming debut EP, “Sparks,” makes a lasting impression with its engaging song writing and earworm instrumentation, that is sure to keep Saige on our musical radar.
