Canadian singer/songwriter Miranda Joan has just unleashed her latest single and it is a hot one! Called "Overstimulated", the sexy new track follows her nine track 2021 album Windborne.

With "Overstimulated", Miranda Joan fuses pop, Neo soul and R&B for a downtempo song all about embracing pleasure. Written just after lockdown, when the doors just began to reopen, "Overstimulated" is about the intense energy of wanting to connect, feel and experience once again. Lyrics include, "late night bright light / call me on your phone / you are something fuzzy like a utopia / if you want to get a little overstimulated with me," sings Miranda Joan. She is ready to enjoy all the world has to offer again with that special someone. "Overstimulated" begins with a slow burning baseline under Joan's velvety smooth layered vocals. An ecstasy-drenched climatic chorus over colorful synths brings the listener to a pleasurable musical journey filled with desire.

Miranda Joan was born in Montreal, raised in Vancouver and now resides in New York City. The bilingual artist began to study Jazz at an early age and became recognized for her unique and mesmerizing vocals as well as authentic songwriting. She has shared the stages with such powerhouses as Lorde, Shawn Mendes and Andy Grammar. "Overstimulated" is the first single off of her upcoming full length of the same name. Take a listen to "Overstimulated" now and remember to celebrate the pleasures that life can give us.
