South African electronic music producer Micheal Sebastian has just releases his latest single "Duma," which is the second release of his new EP Kadako. Micheal Sebastian is known for his multi-genre style music, which is demonstrated throughout "Duma" with its ambitious exploration of reverbs, harmonizing vocals and analog synth layers.
The track begins with a steady build-up from start-to-finish, exploring a steady rhythm throughout which shares similar feelings often felt in a Bicep or Floating points track. It’s a minimalistic sound that creates a wicked sense of nostalgia. The new track is about the frustration that Micheal Sebastian and so many others had experienced throughout the covid-19 pandemic – a sense of disconnection, closure and isolation from people.
