It's been a minute since rapper/singer Rokeaux popped up on our radar but now he returns with a new record titled "Charmin' Tha Snakes". The track is a bass-heavy, trap banger that dwells on fair-weather friends, betrayal, and trust in this modern era. He employs a soothing melodic approach, but with the passion of an emcee. He explores the topic with such gusto and points out how most people are only trying to be close to him for what they can gain. He is, however, not jaded and knows how to tell the real ones from the snakes so in reality they can't hurt him.
Rokeaux is a singer, rapper and songwriter from St. Thomas of the U.S. Virgin Islands whose unique blend of hip-hop, dancehall and pop music elements have marked him as a rising force in the music industry. Inspired by music legends including Drake, Missy Elliott and Damien Marley, Rokeaux’s infectious melodies and raspy tones have helped him craft his own sound, best described as Caribbean hip-pop. Rokeaux's recent EP was released in June 2020.
