Brooklyn-based artist Ivy Sole opens up to fans with a new podcast focusing on the construction of their latest album Candid.
Released earlier this year, Candid is the latest full-length offering from rapper Ivy Sole. Candid as a project focuses on the intermediate parasocial relationships in the rapper's personal life. It's an album dedicated to finding love through self retrospection and community in an oppressive environment. Read our review here.
Candid Radio aims to "demystify the story" of Candid while exploring the themes and narratives laid out in the project. Through 6 narrative episodes, fans get to learn about the creative process Ivy Sole endured through the two-year timeline of writing, recording, and editing the project. All leading up to the release of the deluxe version of the album with new songs, merchandise, as well as an interactive art exhibition held in Brooklyn, New York later this summer.
